Cody Graham launches Bu-Tay apparel line

Surfersvillage Global Surf News, 2 September, 2008 : - - Newport Beach -- Premium spirit brand BU-TAY Vodka announces the launch of  its  apparel line, BU-TAY Style. In response to  a large number of requests for BU-TAY merchandise at live events, the Company responded by hiring professional surfer Cody Graham to spearhead the development, marketing and sales of the nascent clothing line.

“We felt Cody could take us to the next level, not only locally, but Internationally," say BU-TAY  Vodka Owners Mike Postil and Joe Sachen. “We just want him to do his thing.”

Cody GrahamCody Graham says: “I’ve been surfing for BU-TAY Vodka for quite some time now. Wherever we go, whatever events we put on, everybody wants our clothes because the brand is sexy and cool. So, we created  BU-TAY Style  to stoke everybody out and cover their 'bu-tay.'

Mike and Joe made sure I was happy and healthy over the past year, supporting me promoting events and surfing everyday. I'm excited for the opportunity to return the favor, putting my trade experience to grow the apparel side of their business. And when I'm not in the office or on the road, the North Shore winter is fast-approaching, so expect to see me pulling-in to some big barrels and taking a few on the head.”

BU-TAY just launched its website and is offering its wares online. Its next line, largely driven by consumer input, includes an expanded, higher-end bikini range. "We have a lot of girls that want to wear our bikinis, but we've never had enough to fill the incredible demand. They get mad at us. It's funny " says Graham.

About Cody Graham
Born and raised in Hawaii on the island of Kauai, Cody Graham made a name for himself as a professional surfer: a consummate competitor, fearless big-wave rider and standout performer at Pipeline on the North Shore of Oahu.  His never-say-die attitude and unerring focus allowed him to segue from full-time surfing into an Internet Technology career and work as a top-rated Professional Golfers Association caddy through the better part of the New Millennium.

In 2006, Graham took a marketing role at a publicly-traded apparel company, where he eventually ascended to that company's top marketing position. Recommitting himself to top-level surfing, he entered the professional surfing ranks again in the winter of 2006 at Pipeline. A fearless competitor in and out of the water, Graham intends to be at the top of the ranks in both his athletic and business pursuits at all times.
